-
Module 1: Food and Nutrition. What science says about what a healthy diet and weight looks like. Learning how to eat intuitively and mindfully.
-
Module 2: Investigating the patterns that drive us using the Internal Family Systems model of the brain and behavior. Understanding our motivation to change from a deeper level. Incorporating the concepts of detaching from outcome, since caring too much creates subconscious resistance.

Module 3: Self-sabotage has a function. Understanding all the parts inside of us that encourage us to eat. It's complicated.
-
Module 4: Deepening our Ability to Change Destructive Patterns. Working with both the parts that want change and the parts that overeat anyway. Learning how to consistently make food choices that are in line with our health goals.
-
Module 5: Food cravings, extreme and addictive parts, somatic experiencing, managing anxiety and fear.
-
Module 6: Looking at the childhood origins of our experiences, repressed emotions and learning from the past. Learning how to rewrite your future.

Questions From People Considering Enrollment
-
I am not on facebook. What will I miss if I don't connect with the facebook live group?
If you are not a facebook user and do not want to attend the facebook live segment, you won't miss any content. The facebook live sessions will be only about once every two weeks and are not expected to be long. The only function will be to address questions that members of the course community might have. If I feel like there are concerns that need to be presented in written form that have not been addressed, I will add them to the written course content.
-
I don't like meeting in groups, and I don't like zoom. Do I have to attend the weekly zoom sessions?
The zoom sessions with Blair are totally optional and are meant to add support and connection for those who might benefit. There will not be specific course content presented in the zoom sessions. Blair will be facilitating conversation and comments during this time for anyone who chooses to participate.
-
What if my work schedule is too busy for me to participate in the course during some of the weeks?
The course is totally self paced. Some of the material is best understood over time, and sitting with the ideas is not something to be rushed. Some people might prefer to take the class at a slower pace and only open up the course lessons every two weeks rather than weekly. This is totally fine.
